When Laura Kinney was born she was one of 23 actually successful cloned children from Wolverine's DNA, with the same utility as their father, but from birth; Kill.

Programmed not through science but psychological breaking to hate their enemy....hate each other, and themselves so they would always feel isolated and alone and always serve the initiative of Weapon-X, Laura was the one experiment fortunate enough to survive her training, and...kill her sisters.  The Last Clone.  X-23.

Danny Ketch as the Spirit of Rage, and Wrath and Hell road out to slay those who had done wrong...and those who had not, other than by his gaze, and the priority of his master, until...he broke free of the Devil's hold, and spit on his lies in the dirt, becoming a righteous spirit of defiance to his maker, stealing his gift and using it to bring down his agents and machinations...looking for penance.

Laura broke free finally, rejecting her programming and hungered unsatiably for the truth to her origins, her father, the world, everything she'd been conditioned to hate...which she still hated...but wished to understand, refusing to be a tool, she needed to know why she was created, WHY they needed to die, why...they were so cruel as to bring her into this world.

When she could not bring herself to kill Wolverine, who apologized for what she'd been through and said he loved her....and when Danny Ketch made a promise to the Priest who gave him a chance at saving his soul before dying...the went on a new black path; isolated, but with purpose. 

That purpose has brought them together now....and a miracle into culmination...that each could see the others pain, each understood, each embraced their suffering, and helped keep each others demons at bay.

For the first time, Danny was more of an Angel then demon, and for the first time, Laura felt like she could bring life rather than death...
